Consolidated Tomoka Reports Completed Transactions in its Income Property Portfolio

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Consolidated-Tomoka Land Co. (NYSE MKT: CTO) today announced a transaction in its income property portfolio. The Company has sold its property in Kissimmee, Florida, leased to Walgreens, for total proceeds of approximately $3.4 million. The property has less than six years remaining on the lease. The proceeds from the sale of this property will be used to complete an IRC Section 1031 exchange for property acquired in January 2013 and leased to an affiliate of Big Lots, located in Phoenix, Arizona. The Company will recognize a gain of approximately $500,000 on the sale.

John P. Albright, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, stated, "The disposition of this property continues our plan to recycle capital into assets with longer lease durations in diversified markets."
