ITC Keeps Dividend Steady

Electricity transmission company ITC Holdings  announced yesterday its second-quarter dividend of $0.3775 per share, the same rate it's paid for the last three quarters after it increased it 7% from $0.3525 per share.

The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on June 17 to the holders of record at the close of business on June 3. ITC has paid a quarterly dividend every year since 2005 and has increased the payout annually thereafter.

The regular dividend payment equates to a $1.51-per-share annual dividend yielding 1.7% based on the closing price of ITC Holdings' stock on May 15.
