ICF International's ICF GHK Wins $5 Million Contract to Support Urban Infrastructure Investment Programme in India

FAIRFAX, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- ICF International (NAS: ICFI) , a leading provider of consulting services and technology solutions to government and commercial clients, has been awarded a contract to support the Madhya Pradesh Urban Infrastructure Investment Programme (MPUIIP) in India. The program helps provide access to basic services and infrastructure and reduces the disease burden on children in urban areas in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The contract, awarded to London-based ICF GHK, has a value of $5 million and a term of 30 months.

ICF's responsibilities under the contract include policy, institutional, and capacity building support on operationalizing a new urban infrastructure fund; establishing public-private partnerships; governance reforms including e-governance and public sector financial management; land and water policy and planning; energy efficiency and renewable energy; and evidence-based piloting of approaches to combat violence against women.

"We are honored to have been selected to carry out such important and meaningful work for the people of Madhya Pradesh," said Jeanne Townend, executive vice president for ICF International. "MPUIIP builds on the successful completion of the seven-year Madhya Pradesh Urban Services for the Poor program in 2012, which was managed by ICF GHK to improve access to basic services for the poor in the Indian state. The MPUIIP project leverages ICF GHK capabilities in public sector reform, organizational change, capacity building, and designing urban infrastructure investment."

ICF has borne, through its own funds, the complete cost of distributing this press release.
