EPS came in at $0.69. The 10 earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ predicted $0.74 per share. Non-GAAP EPS of $0.69 for Q3 were 18% lower than the prior-year quarter's $0.84 per share. GAAP EPS of $0.62 for Q3 were 10% lower than the prior-year quarter's $0.69 per share.

Margin details
For the quarter, gross margin was 17.4%, 210 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 9.1%, 270 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 5.7%, 40 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. (Margins calculated in GAAP terms.)

Looking ahead
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $644.2 million. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $0.83.

Next year's average estimate for revenue is $2.35 billion. The average EPS estimate is $2.96.
