ACE Risk Management Receives Innovation Award from Business Insurance Magazine

PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- ACE USA, the U.S.-based retail operation of the ACE Group, today announced that ACE Risk Management, the company's primary casualty division, has been recognized by Business Insurance Magazine as a recipient in its 2013 Innovation Awards Program. Now in its fourth year, the Business Insurance Innovation Awards recognize leadership and innovation for professional risk managers that focus on new technology, new products and services, and other advancements in the insurance industry.

ACE won this coveted honor for ACE AcceleratorSM, a web-based technology solution that allows risk managers to quickly review, execute and submit all the forms needed to complete the election process for Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist coverage. Business Insurance showcased winners of this year's awards during a luncheon ceremony held on March 5, in New York City.

Matt Merna, Division President, ACE Risk Management, commented on the award. "We thank Business Insurance for this award and appreciate the industry recognition for our product innovation. We are proud of our team for their creativity and vision. By developing this unique, web-based platform, risk managers now have access to a faster and more efficient way to complete this time-consuming process."

Clients recognize ACE Risk Management for its commitment to service and the development of innovative technology solutions. Mr. Merna further remarked, "We built ACE Accelerator in response to a specific need identified by our clients. And, because all of the work was completed in house, we were able to incorporate client and broker feedback at every critical juncture. As a result, they helped to make ACE Accelerator what it is today."
