Trex Beats on Both Top and Bottom Lines
Trex (NYS: TREX) reported earnings on Feb. 19. Here are the numbers you need to know.

EPS came in at -$0.13. The six earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ anticipated -$0.17 per share. Non-GAAP EPS were -$0.13 for Q4 compared to -$0.54 per share for the prior-year quarter. GAAP EPS were -$0.22 for Q4 against -$1.19 per share for the prior-year quarter.

For the quarter, gross margin was 29.1%, 3,110 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was -6.9%, 2,160 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was -7.8%, 2,770 basis points better than the prior-year quarter.
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $104.1 million. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $0.99.
Next year's average estimate for revenue is $342.2 million. The average EPS estimate is $2.39.
