Baker's Michael Ryan Receives Award From ACEC/PA

HARRISBURG, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Michael M. Ryan, P.E., vice president of transportation for Michael Baker Corporation (NYSE MKT:BKR), was presented with The Distinguished Award of Merit by the American Council of Engineering Companies/Pennsylvania (ACEC/PA) on February 7, 2013, at its Annual Banquet which recognizes the best consultant projects for 2012. Ryan joined Baker in 2008 as vice president of transportation in the Harrisburg, Pa., office. Previously, he served five years as vice president of H.W. Lochner, Inc., which followed a 35-year career with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation where he held several management positions including district engineer, state director of maintenance, chief engineer and deputy secretary for highway administration. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering from Bucknell University, and is a member of several professional trade associations.
