Andrew Lundquist Resigns as a Director of Pioneer Natural Resources

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Pioneer Natural Resources Company (NYSE: PXD) ("Pioneer" or "the Company") today announced that Andrew Lundquist has resigned his position as a director of Pioneer to join the Executive Leadership Team of ConocoPhillips Company. Mr. Lundquist joined the Pioneer Board of Directors in 2004 and served on the Company's Compensation and Management Development Committee and Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee.
