AsiaInfo-Linkage's Earnings Beat Last Year's by 50%
AsiaInfo-Linkage (NAS: ASIA) reported earnings on Feb. 4. Here are the numbers you need to know.

EPS came in at $0.21. The two earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ predicted $0.24 per share. GAAP EPS of $0.21 for Q4 were 50% higher than the prior-year quarter's $0.14 per share.

For the quarter, gross margin was 40.9%, 50 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 9.1%, 70 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 9.4%, 140 basis points better than the prior-year quarter.
Next year's average estimate for revenue is $595.2 million. The average EPS estimate is $0.59.
The stock has a one-star rating (out of five) at Motley Fool CAPS, with 288 members out of 328 rating the stock outperform, and 40 members rating it underperform. Among 65 CAPS All-Star picks (recommendations by the highest-ranked CAPS members), 50 give AsiaInfo-Linkage a green thumbs-up, and 15 give it a red thumbs-down.
