Rite Aid Readies for Last-Minute Santas with Great Gifts and Extended Store Hours

CAMP HILL, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- With Christmas only days away, Rite Aid stores nationwide are open late, making it easy for busy shoppers to grab gifts, stuff stockings and prepare for holiday parties. From now through Dec. 23, nearly every Rite Aid will be open until at least 11 p.m. to make it easier for the millions of Americans who still have significant portions of shopping to do. Very last-minute shoppers can visit www.riteaid.com to find the nearest Rite Aid open on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, including some 24-hour stores, perfect for any last-minute gifts or needs such as batteries, tree trimmings, wrapping paper and milk.

"Last-minute Santas will find it easy to cross names off of their lists thanks to our extended store hours and the wide variety of gifts available at Rite Aid," said Tony Montini, Rite Aid executive vice president of merchandising. "We think shoppers will be particularly impressed by the values they'll find in our expanded electronics section and our own private brand of Kids Stuff toys."

Toys for Good Little Girls and Boys

Kids Stuff, Rite Aid's private brand of toys, offers classic toys for a great value, many under $10, including 16-piece train sets, remote-controlled cars, plush dolls that giggle and a digital keyboard and guitar set. Rite Aid also has the latest As Seen On TV toys including Dream Lites, the cozy plush animals that project a starry sky on kids' ceilings, and Stompeez slippers, the comfy footwear with faces or eyes that pop with a child's every step, both of which can be under the tree for less than $30. For the littlest ones on the list, pick among Disney books and figurines, Best-Lock Construction Toys, Little Miss Muffin dolls, diecast metal cars and trucks, or Pillow Pets Pee-Wees for $4.99.

Gizmos and Gadgets for Him and Her

Rite Aid's expanded electronic department makes it easier than ever to shop for the techie.
