American Water's Jeff Sterba to Speak at Wells Fargo Securities 2012 Pipeline, MLP and Energy Symposium

VOORHEES, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- American Water Works Company, Inc. (NYS: AWK) , the largest publicly traded U.S. water and wastewater utility company, today announced that President and Chief Executive Officer Jeff Sterba will participate in the Wells Fargo Securities 2012 Pipeline, MLP and Energy Symposium in New York on Wednesday, December 5, 2012.

Sterba will participate on a panel with other industry leaders to discuss policy updates following the recent elections. The panel discussion will be webcast, and also will be posted for public access on the investor relations section of the company's website at www.amwater.com.
