Payvment Launches Weekly Deals Just in Time for Black Friday and Cyber Monday

New weekly deals feature helps 180,000 sellers drive traffic and transactions; shoppers can find Black Friday deals of 20% or more on Facebook and Lish.com/deals

PALO ALTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Just in time for Black Friday, Payvment, the number one Facebook ecommerce platform, today announced Weekly Deals functionality that enables sellers to feature up to three deals per week on Payvment's new social shopping site Lish.com. Payvment's Weekly Deals are seamlessly integrated into the Lish shopping experience, and participation is free.

A recent survey of Payvment sellers found strong seller interest in promotional tactics like deals: nearly half of respondents (48 percent) said they are planning to run some sort of promotion for the holidays to boost sales. Early tests of Payvment's weekly deals functionality also show that time-bounded offers work to drive conversions: last holiday season, Payvment participating sellers enjoyed twice as many product views and sales compared to previous weeks.

"Brick and mortar stores and large ecommerce players have seen success with Black Friday deals for many years. However, smaller online merchants have not had the tools to participate in the holiday promotion frenzy," said Jim Stoneham, CEO of Payvment. "Now with Payvment's weekly deals, Facebook sellers can promote their products for Black Friday, Cyber Monday and more. We anticipate weekly deals will create habits amongst both sellers to create more deals and shoppers to buy more frequently."

To simplify the deals management process, Payvment has reoriented its seller dashboard around weekly deals. Sellers can launch up to three deals per week through the dashboard - they simply select the products they want to promote, choose the discount amount for each product, and designate the quantity of products are eligible for the deal. Sellers can then use Payvment's analytics tools to monitor the effectiveness of each deal. Weekly deals are automatically posted to a Weekly Deal feed at Lish.com/deals and to sellers' Facebook newsfeed to drive fan traffic and sales.

"The new Weekly Deals feature is a great way to attract new customers," said Payvment seller Ashley Agar of Grace Hyde & Co. "Payvment made it so easy to create my deals and I look forward to trying their scheduled promotions that drive traffic to my store; best of all, my customers love getting great deals!"

Black Friday deals will run from November 23rd through November 27th. Sellers can visit my.payvment.com to set up their store and get their products featured and shoppers can visit lish.com/deals today to sign up and get notified when new deals are live.
