Bruker Beats on Both Top and Bottom Lines
Bruker (NAS: BRKR) reported earnings on Feb. 19. Here are the numbers you need to know.

EPS came in at $0.28. The 11 earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ predicted $0.24 per share. Non-GAAP EPS of $0.28 for Q4 were 3.7% higher than the prior-year quarter's $0.27 per share. GAAP EPS of $0.08 for Q4 were 65% lower than the prior-year quarter's $0.23 per share.

For the quarter, gross margin was 46.8%, 320 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 12.2%, 120 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 2.5%, 570 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter.
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $419.3 million. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $0.17.
Next year's average estimate for revenue is $1.85 billion. The average EPS estimate is $0.89.
