Callaway Golf (NYS: ELY) reported earnings on Oct. 25. Here are the numbers you need to know.

EPS came in at -$0.50. The eight earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ averaged -$0.41 per share. GAAP EPS were -$1.33 for Q3 against -$1.01 per share for the prior-year quarter.

Margin details
For the quarter, gross margin was 2.6%, 2,480 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was -55.9%, 3,370 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was -58.7%, 2,260 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter.

Looking ahead
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $133.8 million. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is -$0.42.

Next year's average estimate for revenue is $852.3 million. The average EPS estimate is -$0.61.
