SciQuest's NextLevel 2013 Spotlights the Future of Spend Management

Event Showcases Industry Leaders, Customer Success Stories and Award-Winning Technology

CARY, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- SciQuest, Inc. (NAS: SQI) a leading provider of cloud-based spend management solutions, today announced the lineup for NextLevel - the procurement industry's signature event. Participants will have a unique opportunity to network and collaborate with other financial, legal and purchasing professionals, exploring the challenges, successes and the future of spend management. NextLevel 2013 will be held at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa in San Antonio, Texas, from February 10-13.

NextLevel will explore critical issues for professionals such as managing suppliers, contract management, analyzing spending and streamlining purchases. The conference will feature a mix of hands-on training sessions, panel discussions and customer success stories. Participants will discuss collaboration opportunities, strategies for maximizing user adoption, tactics for growing the supply base and ways to partner with suppliers to maximize savings. Topics include source-to-settle, contract lifecycle management, accounts payable, spend analytics and supplier information management.

Other highlights include keynote presentations from Kate Vitasek, lead researcher of the concepts of Vested and Vested Outsourcing and Garrison Wynn, Fortune 500 leader and bestselling author. Vitasek, whose groundbreaking business model for strategic and innovative partnerships earned industry recognition, will share insights on how to enhance supplier partnerships and gain the maximum value from your purchasing network. She will also share real-world case studies from her latest book, Vested: How P&G, McDonald's and Microsoft are Redefining Winning in Business Relationships.

"Year after year, NextLevel continues to grow in size and expand in charter and depth," said Jason Busch, executive editor and managing research director of Spend Matters. "When I attended in the past, I was struck by the level of depth and subject matter expertise in a range of purchase-to-pay areas. With the addition of best-in-class supplier management, contract management and spend analysis to the SciQuest portfolio and SciQuest's organic industry expansion, NextLevel 2013 promises to deliver significantly more breadth - and even more depth across past and new areas. I also look forward to seeing many faces from the industry at the event as well, including some of the most dynamic public and private sector procurement executives I've met before through NextLevel."

"It's been an exciting year for SciQuest - we've continued to broaden our portfolio of solutions and actively integrated customers' suggestions and feedback into product development. We're excited to talk about the impact of our recent acquisitions of Spend Radar and Upside Software and how these new products bring even more value to our customers," said Stephen Wiehe, president and CEO, SciQuest. "NextLevel offers participants the opportunity to gain deeper insights into the latest advances in spend management technology, hear compelling customer case studies from successful deployments, and network with peers and technology experts."
