Supertex (NAS: SUPX) reported earnings on May 8. Here are the numbers you need to know.

EPS came in at $0.18. The three earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ predicted $0.09 per share. Non-GAAP EPS of $0.18 for Q4 were 64% higher than the prior-year quarter's $0.11 per share. GAAP EPS of $0.13 for Q4 were 30% higher than the prior-year quarter's $0.10 per share.

Margin details
For the quarter, gross margin was 52.4%, 540 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 6.8%, 540 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 10.4%, 270 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. (Margins calculated in GAAP terms.)

Looking ahead
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $14.9 million. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $0.10.

Next year's average estimate for revenue is $65.0 million. The average EPS estimate is $0.54.
