Turk Telekom Renews Contract for SeaChange's Pulse™ Remote and On Site Managed Services

Preventive Monitoring and Maintenance Service Checks Pulse of Back Office and Multi-Screen Video Systems 24x7

ACTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- SeaChange International (NAS: SEAC) , a leading global multi-screen video software and services innovator, announced today that Turk Telekom has renewed its contract for SeaChange's Pulse™ Remote Managed Services (RMS) and its On Site Managed Services (OMS) for monitoring the company's back office and multi-screen video services.

Türk Telekom Group, the leading communication and convergence technology group in Turkey, providing integrated telecommunication services to 15.8 million fixed access lines, 6.7 million ADSL connections and 11.8 million mobile subscribers, has been using SeaChange's remote and on site managed services since 2009.

Turk Telekom's Service Management Director Naci Ishakbeyoglu commented, "We are fortunate to have SeaChange manage the day-to-day monitoring and reporting of our video services. The SeaChange team has been extremely easy to work with, defining the operational processes they would then manage and following through with expert monitoring and reporting around the clock every day of the year. It gives us great peace of mind to know we have video experts managing our overall system, which is critical to the success of our IPTV service."

SeaChange's SVP-Technical Support and Professional Services Maria Duquette added, "We're pleased Turk Telekom has renewed its contract with us for our Pulse Managed Services, along with many other video service providers worldwide who already find our services to be unmatched, providing cost savings and revenue protection for their video business."

Video service providers worldwide like Turk Telekom, Virgin Media and Melita, now enjoy the primary benefits of SeaChange Pulse Managed Services, including cost savings, revenue protection and peace of mind. Pulse monitors a video service provider's system remotely or through on site monitoring, lab staffing and on site system maintenance. It includes a combination of continuous monitoring as well as a series of health checks conducted seven days a week, 365 days a year. Essential to ensuring potential issues are caught before they become visible to subscribers, Pulse offers experienced SeaChange staff to assume responsibility for managing and monitoring VOD, multi-screen, and/or advertising services to make sure the entire system is operating smoothly and efficiently.
