Signature Bank Appoints New Private Client Banking Team and Adds Group Director to Existing Team

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Signature Bank (NAS: SBNY) , a New York-based full-service commercial bank, announced today the appointment of a new private client banking team and the addition of a private client group director to an existing team.

A three-person team led by newly appointed Group Directors and Senior Vice Presidents Lisa A. Etre and William McCarthy will be based in the Bank's private client banking office in White Plains, N.Y. (Westchester).


Etre and McCarthy, along with Senior Client Associate Jessica Ruiz, join from Hudson Valley Bank in Yonkers, N.Y., where they worked closely together.

Having spent 23 years at that institution, Etre spent the past 10 years as Vice President and Relationship Manager, focused on servicing small and middle market companies throughout Westchester County, Manhattan and the Bronx, which included a wide range of professional and small business entities. Previously, she held a variety of positions, including several lending roles.

McCarthy, with four decades of banking experience, most recently was Vice President, Relationship Manager/Branch Manager there, where he was responsible for managing and growing a client portfolio as well as business development and management of the branch. Previously, he spent 11 years at Key Bank and its predecessor company, Union State Bank, also serving in relationship and business banking roles.

Signature Bank also named Dennis J. Sheridan Group Director and Senior Vice President at the Signature Bank office located at 261 Madison Avenue, in midtown Manhattan where he will join one of the Bank's existing private client groups. Sheridan spent the past 25 years at Valley National Bank's midtown Manhattan branch, in close proximity on Madison Avenue, as Vice President and Branch Sales Manager. Sheridan's primary focus of serving law firms and real estate entities complements the Bank's emphasis in these areas as well.
