Whole Foods' Long-Term Dominance

Whole Foods has been a remarkable success story in the grocery space as consumers flock to organic offerings. But Fool analyst Anand Chokkavelu points out some numbers that may surprise you. Over the past 20 years, the company has averaged 26% sales growth, and within the past 10 years, it's had more than 7% same-store-sales growth. Those are amazing numbers, especially through a recession.

It's yet another example of how picking quality companies can be outsized winners for decades. It's darn hard to find them, but when you do, you see growth like Whole Foods'. Anand explains in the following video.
