While features surrounding ponies and unicorns might be familiar to FarmVille or even CastleVille players, CityVille is just now getting in on the barnyard fun with a new Pony Ranch. This Pony Ranch and be built and upgraded by players that have reached at least Level 10 in the game, and it will eventually allow you to earn 1 million coins for your efforts. You can even earn a mythical unicorn for your city!

First things first, you'll need to place the Pony Ranch on your city (the base doesn't require energy). From there, you'll be able to start the upgrade process, with this feature being incredibly similar to those like the Rainbow from St. Patrick's Day or the Roller Coaster released just this summer. That is, you'll need to collect Ponies from your friends or themed buildings in order to upgrade the Pony Ranch until you eventually reach Level 6 and earn your 1 million coin prize.

You'll be able to ask for Ponies from your friends every few hours, but won't be able to ask for a specific kind of Pony from the up to six different varieties you may be required to collect for any one level. To increase your rate of collection, you're encouraged to build "Pony" themed buildings in the store, like a Dude Ranch home that costs 50,000 coins or a Saddles R Us store that goes for 55 City Cash. There's another building that goes for coins, so you do have multiple options available to you, but it is unfortunate that so many cost Cash upfront.

You'll have the next 24 days to finish the upgrades on this Pony Ranch, and you'll receive a Unicorn Statue along with your 1 million coin prize at the end if you can finish it all in time. That's definitely easier said than done, so we wish you the best of luck in finishing this feature off in time!
