A Dallas landmark, this sprawling mansion was built by oil baron H.L. Hunt in 1929 and was designed to be a replica of George Washington's Mount Vernon estate in .

Listed for $29.5 million (remember, you're paying for a landmark here), the Georgian Colonial commands 10 acres, has a two-story guesthouse and overlooks a lake. As if it weren't big enough to begin with, the home was expanded in 2002 and now stretches 10,511 square feet.

While the house itself may closely resemble the home of our first president, it has a raft of ultra-lavish amenities that reach a level of luxury ol' George could never have possibly imagined. They include a pool house, a four-lane bowling alley, lighted tennis courts, a 16-car garage and auto facility, a pool, putting greens and a gazebo.
