New plans about former model Elin Nordegren's future Palm Beach, Fla., pad have been revealed. Nordegren, Tiger Woods' ex-wife, purchased a $12 million mansion in Florida in March of 2011 after
her $100 million divorce settlement from the superstar golfer, but promptly had it demolished. The home, built in the 1920s, wasn't up to modern hurricane codes and was infested with termites. So naturally it made more financial sense to just destroy the home on that choice beach lot rather than fix it up. (Read more about the demolition on AOL Real Estate.)

Since work on her new home began, new plans about her mansion-to-be have been revealed. The ultra modern home will include a wine room, a gym and a theater. The master suite will be 1,200 square feet, and will overlook the Atlantic ocean.

The backyard was designed for relaxation: It reportedly will include a koi pond, waterfalls, a spa and an Olympic-size swimming pool. The Daily Mail points out that there is no mention of any golfing facilities in the plans.

Elin Nordegren's Florida Manse: Plans Reveal New Details

Tiger Wood's ex-wife Elin Nordegren has reportedly demolished the $12.2 million beach-front mansion she bought with her divorce settlement - to build a new dream home. Nordegren felt the 9,000sq ft, 6-bedroom, 8-bathroom house in Palm Beach, Florida, wasn't modern enough, so she's building a new one. The house is just 10 miles from Tigers' new pad in Jupiter.

Work has started on Elin Nordegren's new beach-front mansion in Florida. The 34-year-old bought a new home in North Palm Beach after receiving $100 million in her divorce from golf star Tiger Woods. After spending $12.2 million buying the property, she promptly had the 1932 existing home completely demolished so she could build the futuristic home of her dreams for herself, daughter Samantha, four, and son Charlie, three. Plans show she is having an Olympic-sized swimming pool built in the grounds, along with waterfalls, a spa and a Zen-like Koi pond. The 21,000sq ft home will have its own movie theatre, gym and wine room. Her master bedroom suite will be 1,200 sq ft and enjoy sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean. The Swedish born former nanny was reportedly criticised for destroying the property but she insisted it would have taken too much work to restore the home which was not hurricane proof and infested with bugs.
