CityVille Bus Stops: Everything you need to know

Before you go, we thought you'd like these...
With the recent launch of the Subway System in CityVille, your in-game commuters can make it to work and back home quicker than ever, and will help you earn more profits from your businesses along the way. That's great, but why stick to just traveling around town via Metro Stations, when you have all sorts of roads to travel on too? If you haven't guessed where I'm going with this, an all-new bus system has come to CityVille, allowing you to build Bus Stops that work much in the same way as Metro Stations.

Similar to the Subway setup, you can only have one Bus Station that serves as a hub for all of your bus travel. You can, however, have multiple Bus Stops, with each Bus Stop taking up just a 2x2 square area in either your Downtown or home city area. It should be noted that you can only have a Bus Station and functional Bus Stops in either your Downtown or your main city. That is, you can't have a Bus Station in your main game and Bus Stops in Downtown and expect them to work.

To start enjoying this feature, you'll need to first build the Bus Station, which requires quite a few building materials to complete:

  • 6 Bus Paints
  • 6 Bus Tires
  • 6 Bus Tickets
  • 6 Bus Seats
  • 6 Bus Doors

These items are earned either through general news posts on your wall or through individual gift requests. Once you've built a few Bus Stops and have finished the completion of your Bus Station, your citizens will start commuting around town, and will offer an "area of effect" to nearby businesses, causing them to payout their profits faster. You'll also receive bonus payouts when commuters fill up one of your businesses. To be clear, the Bus Station can be upgraded (by collecting more building materials and additional staff members), allowing you to purchase different kinds of Bus Stops along the way, each of which has a slightly different design and different stats (of course, they cost more to purchase and build too).

All told, this CityVille Buses feature is incredibly similar to the Subway Station, as it serves as an overall way for you to earn more money from your businesses in the same amount of time as before. Luckily, these Bus Stops are so small that it won't hurt to have a few scattered around your game, allowing you to take advantage of all of your new profits long into the future.
