Investors never know what to expect for Cascade (NYS: CASC) , as it has wavered between topping and missing analysts estimates during the past fiscal year. The company will unveil its latest earnings on Monday. Cascade is an international company engaged in the manufacture of materials-handling products that are used on industrial lift trucks and on construction, mining, and agricultural vehicles.

What analysts say:

  • Buy, sell, or hold?: Analysts strongly back Cascade, with three of four rating it a buy and the remainder rating it a hold. Analysts like Cascade better than competitor NACCO Industries overall. While analysts still rate the stock a moderate buy, they are a little more optimistic about it compared to three months ago.
  • Revenue forecasts: On average, analysts predict $128.5 million in revenue this quarter. That would represent a rise of 16.4% from the year-ago quarter.
  • Wall Street earnings expectations: The average analyst estimate is earnings of $1.09 per share. Estimates range from $0.99 to $1.18.

CAPS All-Stars are strongly supporting the stock, with 95.2% granting it an outperform rating. Most of the community backs the All-Stars, with 93.5% assigning it a rating of outperform. Even with a robust four out of five stars, Cascade's CAPS rating falls a little short of the community's upbeat outlook.

Management:
Cascade's profit has risen year-over-year by an average of more than twofold over the past five quarters.
