There's never a dull week on Wall Street. Let's go over some of the news that will shape the week to come.

Monday
The market is closed in observance of Presidents Day. Obviously, that isn't going to stop overseas exchanges from going at it. Ctrip.com (NAS: CTRP) , China's leading online travel website operator, will report on Monday night -- which is Tuesday morning in China.

Tuesday
Chesapeake Energy (NYS: CHK) kicks off the abridged trading week with its latest quarterly results. Analysts see the natural gas and oil producer earning $0.59 a share, shy of the $0.70 it served up a year earlier.

Wednesday
Lumber Liquidators (NYS: LL) nails down its numbers on Wednesday.

The company is the leading retailer specializing in hardwood flooring, and its past few quarters have been rough. A troublesome enterprise-software installation and an economic climate that isn't rewarding home-makeover projects have slowed things down at Lumber Liquidators. At least analysts profitability growing again.

Thursday
SandRidge Energy
(NYS: SD) shares took a hit earlier this month, after the company announced the $1.275 billion acquisition of Dynamic Offshore Resources. The company reports its quarterly results on Thursday, giving it a great opportunity to address any concerns about the seemingly dilutive deal.

Friday
The final trading day of the week finds Washington Posts (NYS: WPO) making headlines with its own quarterly report. Slowdowns in print publishing and concerns about its Kaplan subsidiary have analysts expecting earnings to fall sharply.
