In the video below, Motley Fool senior technology analyst Eric Bleeker breaks down Apple's wild ride today. The company opened strongly through noon, but saw a steep plunge in the afternoon. All told, from its high to its bottom today, Apple moved almost $27 billion in market cap! That's a huge move, nearly the same size as defense stalwart Lockheed Martin's entire value.
