The Sims Social Adventure Week looks mighty fun if a little familiar
Leave it to Facebook games to provide a near unlimited source of déjà vu. The next themed update to The Sims Social, Adventure Week, certainly fuels that fire. Playfish's hit social game is headed into the jungle with a slew of items that will turn your tiny home in Little Haven into a backyard camping trip gone wild.
While we don't have much information on what quests players will have to complete, we do know what your friends' homes are about to look like. This update will include everything an adventurer needs from a cot to a tent and even a friendly parrot. Players will have access to items like fire pits, snakes, tiki statues and sitting logs to turn their home and outdoor area into one fit for Indiana Jones himself. (Well, he kind of already has a home.)
Anyway, EA and Playfish have taken an interesting spin on just what Adventure Week means. Much of the themed update will also include Asian-inspired items and decor. It looks like players will get to deck out their homes with sky lanterns, Chinese dragon statues and Asian garb for their Sims. In fact, Adventure Week in The Sims Social could mean a lot of things. For instance, isn't it funny how this theme looks compared to how Playfish's next big Facebook gamesounds?
