Although we don't believe in timing the market or panicking over market movements, we do like to keep an eye on big changes -- just in case they're material to our investing thesis.

What: Shares of Open Text (NAS: OTEX) fell more than 19% in early trading and remain down more than 9% after reporting worse-than-expected fiscal fourth quarter results. A Susquehanna analyst also downgraded the stock.

So what: Revenue rose 19% to $285.4 million while adjusted profit grew 11% to $1.05 per share. Non-GAAP operating margins plunged more than 6 percentage points, causing profits to dip well below the $1.12 a share the Street was expecting.

Now what: The result prompted Susquehanna to cut its rating from "neutral" to "negative" and reduced its price target, The Wall Street Journal reported. Color me skeptical.
