Cafe World 2nd Mega Stove Goals: Everything you need to know
Forget the rule of three - Zynga has adopted a rule of two in Cafe World, as we've seen yet another double item being released in the game. First, we were given a chance to add a second Deep Fryer to our cafes, and then a second Pizza Oven. Now, we're given a chance to place a second 4x Mega Stove that will give us a chance to cook four more dishes at once, all with one click cooking (hey, I guess that is three things after all...).
While you can place the second 4x Mega Stove and build it separately, you can also complete a new set of five goals in the game as you go along. You will, of course, need to have finished working on your first Mega Stove to unlock the second, so check out our guide to doing just that if you need to catch up (don't worry, I'm behind too). Part I of V asks you to simply place your second Mega Stove in your Cafe to get you started.
Place your second 4x Mega Stove to begin unlocking burners
Serve Macaroni and Cheese 10 Times
Spice 4 Neighbors' Stoves
Luckily, Macaroni and Cheese only takes two hours to cook, so you won't have to wait too long before moving on. The next goal gets a bit trickier, so meet us behind the break to see what it is.
Unlock the First Burner! sees you asking your friends for items, along with cooking for food.
Ask for 8 Grates
Serve Crackling Peking Duck 10 Times
Spice 5 Neighbor Stoves
You'll need to ask your friends to send you the Grates via the button in the quest window. Meanwhile, you can cook and serve the Crackling Peking Duck, which takes 18 hours to prepare. Remember to use servings in your Gift Box, or to use spices if you'd like to speed things up. Finishing this quest gives you 100 Cafe Points and 100 coins.
The next goal, Unlock the 2nd Burner!, becomes more complicated still, asking you to collect a whole slew of items, removing the stove spicing mechanic altogether.
Ask for 10 Computer Chips
Serve 25 Pita and Dolmas
Ask for 12 Drip Bowls
You'll need to ask for the Computer Chips via a general news post, so make sure you have plenty of friends that will see your request before it falls off of their feed. Meanwhile, you can either serve the Pita and Dolmas manually (it takes four hours to cook), or you can ask your friends to send you servings to finish more quickly. Completing this goal gives you 200 coins and 200 Cafe Points.
Moving on, you'll work on Unlock the 3rd Burner!, which is incredibly similar to the third quest, in that you'll need to rely on friends to help you through most of the process.
Ask for 12 Metal Plates
Serve 20 Voodoo Chicken Salad
Ask for 10 Control Knobs
The Voodoo Chicken Salad works just as the Pita and Dolmas. You can either cook them and serve them after 12 hours, or you can ask your friends to send you servings to speed up the process. Finish this goal and you'll receive 500 coins and 500 Cafe Points.
Finally, for Unlock the 4th Burner!, you'll need to collect even more items and serve even more food. I tell you, Zynga didn't get very creative with this goal series, that's for sure.
Ask for 12 Igniters
Serve 30 Chashu Ramen
Ask for 12 LED Displays
Again, you'll need to ask your friends for the two stove parts, and then can either cook Chashu Ramen (it takes six hours to cook), or wait for your friends to send you enough servings to complete this goal set once and for all. Finish this final goal, and you'll receive 1000 coins and 1000 Cafe Points.
While these 4x Mega Stoves are definitely convenient, I almost wonder if players would simply prefer to collect a few stove ingredients to build stoves the old fashioned way, rather than going through a lengthy quest set that relies so much more heavily on friends, and not the Daily Special Delivery (which always used to give off a free building part). Perhaps you can help me put that curiosity to bed...
So what do you think? Would you rather simply purchase or build this 4x Mega Stove, rather than complete these goals? Do you think there are too many goals released in the game, or not enough? Sound off in the comments.
