Cafe World Valentine's Day Dinner Catering Order: Everything you need to know
If you thought we could get through one holiday in Cafe World without the release of a new Catering Order, guess again, as Zynga has finally launched a Valentine's Day Dinner catering order in the game, to coincide with the Valentine's Day goals released previously. As you'd likely guess, this dinner continues the saga of Espresso Joe and Lisa Latte, as after going through eight missions to prepare the perfect setting for their Valentine's Day dinner, you'll now have to actually prepare the dinner itself.
This catering order luckily only has three steps to complete, and you'll be able to not only bring your friends into the catering mission with you, but also ask even those that don't participate in catering to help as well (outside of item collection). You'll have five days to finish this order, so meet us behind the break for complete details about how to complete it in time.
As we said, this mission requires you to cook three dishes. You'll need to serve Oyster Shooters (a one hour dish) 120 times, Sauteed Turbot (a six hour dish) 85 times, and Creme Brulee (a 20 hour dish) 51 times. All three of these dishes are those recipes that you'll unlock as you complete the Valentine's Day goals in the game, so your best bet is to finish those eight missions before trying to tackle this.
As the Oyster Shooter goal is such a large one, you'll also be able to take advantage of the collection element here, that will allow you to click on the "Ask" button and then send requests to your friends to send you servings of the dish. After serving them from your gift box, they will be added to your overall total. This combined with actually cooking the dish in your own cafe should give you a bit of a boost in progress.
Another positive to note here is the fact that this order can be completed with a catering crew of up to 19 people, including yourself. A five day time limit will also help you earn the top three stars more quickly, so hopefully you can take advantage of all of these things to finish the mission in time.
If you can complete the order within five days, you'll receive 15 Catering Points, 7,140 Cafe Points, 160,650 coins, and the Love Cake recipe. This recipe can be cooked for 500 coins, and will be ready to serve in one hour. At that point, you'd have 50 servings to sell for 15 coins per serving, for a return of 750 coins in total.
If you finish the mission within a week of starting (but after five days), you'll receive two stars, 10 Catering Points, 5,100 Cafe Points, and 114,750 coins. Finally, simply finishing the mission at all after seven days will net you a single star, 5 Catering Points, 3,060 Cafe Points, and 68,850 coins.
While this catering order may be inspired by a holiday, there is luckily no current time limit associated with when it must be completed by. Hopefully, this means that the order will be available to complete long after the holiday itself has passed, giving users the chance to finish it whenever they'd like.
What do you think of this new catering order? Will you work with your friends to finish this mission in time for Valentine's Day proper, or will you take a more casual approach to it? Let us know in the comments.
