Atlantic City resorts will accommodate the whole family, but most of them are very focused on the adult traveler, especially those who enjoy engaging in games of chance. No matter which Atlantic City resort you choose, you'll be minutes away from myriad attractions, water sports, shopping, casinos, nightlife and world-class shows, and of course the famous Atlantic City Boardwalk. Here's a quick look at three of the Atlantic City resorts in the New Jersey town where the street names inspired the properties on a Monopoly board.
Atlantic City Resorts: Bally's Atlantic City

Feel like you're sitting on the most valuable property in the Monopoly game? You are at this resort on the corner of Boardwalk and Park Place. Take your chances in one of the casinos – 75 percent of the Bally's gaming area is non-smoking – play a round of golf at the historic Atlantic City Country Club, or catch a championship boxing match at this historic Atlantic City resort.

Atlantic City Resorts: Tropicana

Many people visit this Atlantic City resort to take in a show, enjoy the clubs or hit the casino, but you can do a lot more at this 21-story resort on the Atlantic Ocean. Check out screenings of the latest movies at the IMAX Theater or get pampered at the bluemercury spa. If you're there in December, you might be lucky enough to catch the Running of the Santas. But be warned: It's not for the kids!

Atlantic City Resorts: Caesar's

No Atlantic City resort is in Vegas, that's true, but the over-the-top Roman temple décor and non-stop casino action at Caesar's Atlantic City might make you feel you're in the original Sin City. You can attend Vegas-style shows, or dance the night away at Toga Bar (College toga party apparel NOT recommended). And of course, a spa, pools and shops will make your stay complete.

Before you plan your trip to any of the Atlantic City resorts, be sure to go online and look for package deals on hotels and car rentals. If you're flying, you might also find a great deal on airfares.

Whether you're spending a week's vacation or an afternoon at any of the Atlantic City resorts, you'll likely have a great time, and who knows? Maybe you'll come back with a few more dollars in your pocket than when you arrived.
