Female leaders don't have to be a superwoman. That's what researchers Athena Vongalis-Macrow and Andrea Gallant tell you in the Harvard Business Review.
Presenting only the stereotype of the superwoman to females on their way up likely will cause them to plateau early. Successful female leaders don't have to be perfectly thin or groomed. They don't have to consumed primarily by professional life yet have a wonderful soul mate, 2.5 children, and a global reputation for hosting five-star dinner parties with celebrity guests.
