Milestone flat screen tv mounts recalled.Sanus Vision and Simplicity flat screen television wall mounts are being recalled because the parts don't fit together and they can fall apart, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said.

The flaw with the elbow joint parts can cause a TV to fall off the wall, the CPSC said.
The Sanus Vision mount has a model number of LF228-B1. It was sold for about $450. The Simplicity mount has the model number of LF228-B1 and was sold for about $200 at Costco. Both models were sold between June 2009 and July 2010.

Model numbers can be found on the UL sticker that is on the mount's wall plate. A total of about 131,000 of the mounts were sold. They were manufactured by Milestone AV Technologies in China.

If you have the wall mounts in question, you should inspect the elbow joints to determine if they fit correctly. Information about how to conduct the inspection and getting a replacement arm can be found on Milestone's recall site.
