Norwegian Cruise Line is offering free upgrades fleetwide for cruises booked by Aug. 1.

The "Hello Balcony!" sale is available on a number of dates between now and next April, to destinations including the Caribbean, Europe, Alaska and Hawaii.

Book an inside cabin, and get upgraded to an oceanview. Book an oceanview, and you'll be upgraded to a cabin with a balcony. On some cruises there are also upgrades from a balcony to a deluxe balcony stateroom.

Itineraries for the inside to oceanview upgrades include 5-day western Caribbean cruises on the Norwegian Dawn from Miami, priced from $309; 3-day cruises on the Norwegian Sky from Miami, priced from $149; and 7-day cruises on the Norwegian Jewel from New York, priced from $399.

Oceanview to balcony cabin upgrades are available on cruises including 7-day Caribbean from Port Canaveral (near Orlando) on the Norwegian Sun, priced from $529; and 7-day Alaska from Seattle on the Norwegian Star, priced from $649.

You can even snag an upgrade on weeklong Caribbean sailings on the line's brand new, 4,100-passenger Norwegian Epic from Miami. Pay from $949 for a deluxe balcony stateroom (with the upgrade from a balcony stateroom).

Norwegian is also offering passengers on the Epic up to a $150 shipboard credit per cabin (to spend as you choose onboard). And the upgrade promotion can be combined with the line's offer that provides $99 flights (from select gateways) as well as transfers for those booking a balcony or deluxe cabin on Epic.
