Food trucks have become a booming business the past few years. No longer just a place to get a dirty water dog, food trucks are now home to some of the country's best culinary experiences. When I heard that there was a must try food truck outside of Washington DC, I knew I had to give it a try.

Windy City Red Hots makes its home in Ashburn, VA (yes, I said Ashburn). Located thirty miles outside of DC, this truck is permanently parked in the parking lot of a nursery. You don't have to log on to twitter to find out its location on a daily basis. It's always there, always ready to serve you one of Chicago's finest foods. They serve up authentic Chicago style hot dogs, polish and italian beef dogs and even pizza puffs. The only thing Chicago they don't serve is deep dish pizza.

I made my way to Windy City Red Hots with a colleague and chef, Robin Aguilar to see if this place really lives up to the hype. The toppings may be a bit overwhelming to some (a chicago style dog is made up of eight total ingredients) but if you want the true experience, you have to get it all. The Vienna Beef hot dog just snaps when you take a bite. The neon green relish, sport peppers and pickle all work in unison to give your mouth a rush of wonderful flavors. Does the Chicago style hot dog live up to the hype? Absolutely!
