Obamas, Won't You Be Our Neighbor?

Americans have spoken, and they choose the Obamas as their most ideal next-door neighbor, according to a recent Zillow Celebrity Neighbor Survey.

On the other end of the spectrum, crazy, Octo-mom, Nadya Suleman, was voted least-desirable neighbor. I guess no one wants to live next to FOURTEEN(!) screaming babies and her circus-home crawling with television cameras filming her new reality show.

Who else made the list?

Interestingly, Sarah Palin came in just below the Obamas on the most-desirable list (in 2009 she topped the list), but this year she appears again (with almost the same amount of votes) on the least desirable list.

"For two years in a row now, Americans have made it clear that they think politicians and talk show hosts make the best neighbors," according to Zillow's Amy Bohutinsky. "If nothing else, there will be plenty to talk about at the summer barbecue."

Zillow's list seems to echo People magazine's 25 Most Intriguing People list with in-the-news celebs like Taylor Swift, Kanye West, Tiger Woods and other tabloid fodder making the list. (Let me be the first to say that although Kanye is a jerk, Taylor should be the first to thank him for catapulting her into the spotlight. She is truly everywhere right now.)

Apparently the 2,000 adults polled have low tolerance for paparazzi and kids - with Jon and Kate Gosselin coming in second on the worst-neighbors list. Paparazzi-magnets like the anything-for-attention couple Speidi (Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt), along with bad-press queen Britney Spears and cheater-extraordinaire Tiger Woods all ranked in the worst-neighbor category. But in another double play, Tiger also appeared on the best-neighbor list. Perhaps those polled would like a front row seat to the ever-more-horrifying Tiger Woods show. A Hooters girl too, Tiger?! Jeez, you're low.

Since the Obama's don't technically have neighbors at the White House, you'll have to wait at least three years for America's most famous renters to move next door. Better keep up that curb appeal, America.
