Buyers' Market: $150,000 | $250,000 | $350,000 | $450,000

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - Victoria Rhodes did more than give a family in need the shirt off her back. She gave them a house.

The 45-year-old Charleston woman downplays her benevolence, saying it's just a used trailer she no longer needs.

But Jason Tyler and Kelley Johnson couldn't be happier.

Two months after moving to Charleston from Tennessee, the unemployed couple's mobile home burned this week, leaving them, their four children and Johnson's 65-year-old mother homeless.

The couple still has to come up with about $1,000 to have Rhodes' trailer moved to a new lot, but the American Red Cross is picking up half the tab.

Tyler says it "fills my heart with pride" to know there are people in the world like Rhodes.
